Redacted
One official document from the Caldmere, Maine case files every day, with five words blacked out. Six attempts per blank, three tips if you need them, and the week gets harder as it goes.

Daily Sleuth’s town had more paper in it than one game could use — reports, letters, notices, memos. Redacted is the second door into the same world: the same department, the same people, but a word puzzle instead of a whodunit, for the ten minutes when you want to think but not investigate.
Every day an official document with five words redacted. Letter counts and first letters are free; each wrong guess eliminates letters from the keyboard. Three tips a day reveal one more letter apiece. Difficulty escalates through the week — Monday is a warm-up with generous context, Saturday is marked BRUTAL, and Sunday resets. Streaks, stats, a case archive and a leaderboard keep the regulars honest. It’s part of the Penumbra universe alongside Daily Sleuth.
